Labour to force amendments that would block a no-deal Brexit
Date: 2018-11-19 12:27 pm (UTC)But I don't know how plausible it is: even if they can get something passed over the protests of the people who want to use no-deal brexit as leverage and the people who actually want no-deal brexit, you can't just pass it, withdrawing article 50 or equivalent needs to be agreed with the eu. Which I *hope* they'd agree to, but isn't guaranteed, and is less likely if that translates to endlessly dragging out the british situation instead of undoing it.

Obviously you could do this with a day planner and some photos, but having an app makes it a lot easier to do. It's the sort of thing where technological progress makes lots of things better in small ways that aren't always obvious beforehand.

Date: 2018-11-19 04:35 pm (UTC)So, unless the amendments make it clear that the UK will revoke Article 50 (and this assumes that a unilateral revokation of Article 50 is permitted) then our promise not to leave without a deal is toothless.
Am I missing something?
